Für die Heilige Woche machen wir die Kirche schön: Working Bee am 20. März von 10.00-15.00 Uhr: Ob Groß oder Klein – packt alle mit an. Malen, Hämmern, Aufräumen, Abstauben… GANZ UNTEN DIE AUFGABENLISTE von Helmut und Ralph. Für jeden gibt es eine Aufgabe.
Ihr findet jeweils in der Kirchhalle, der Kirche, dem Kinderbereich, der Garage, dem Garten Verantwortliche, die Euch Aufgaben zeigen. Handwerklich Begabte sind natürlich besonders gefragt. Aber wirklich für jeden, für Toddler wie für Greise gibt es etwas zu tun. Packt alle mit an für ein frisches und fröhliches Osterfest rund um die Dreifaltigkeitskirche! Macht auch Werbung für unsere Veranstaltungen zu Ostern und überlegt, wann und wie Ihr selbst mitfeiern wollt:

In beiden Gottesdiensten wird die Liturgie besonders erklärt. Besonders für Menschen, die nicht jeden Sonntag in die Kirche gehen: Spannend, mehr über die “Zeichensprache” des Gottesdienstes zu erfahren.
Gemeindepädagogin Yasmina Buhre lädt Donnerstag von 10-12 Uhr zur Spielgruppe bei uns an der Kirche ein. Neue Mitglieder sind immer herzlich willkommen. Bitte schaut auch gerne in unserer WhatsApp Gruppe oder bei Facebook rein: Dort werden regelmäßige Updates gepostet und auch sonst tauschen wir uns gerne aus.

Hallo volunteers !
After one year we can finally have our working bee ! Lots of things which should’ve been done , couldn’t be done unfortunately. So quite a bit of work has built up. Have a good look at the list below, and if you think, that you could handle a particular task, then please come prepared with proper ‘working attire’ and any tools if available. Otherwise tools could be supplied where possible. If you don’t have any suitable tools, then please bring along some working enthusiasm and a good pair of hands, which woiuld be much appreciated.

Christoph has prepared a specific list already, which includes selective painting
Inside and ouside, installation of shelves , getting the window shutter ready to be used, plus other jobs.
- G a r a g e , (which urgently needs a lot of attention!)
2.1 Cleaning and sorting out , disposing off , and moving some stuff into the shed( when shelves are ready)
2.2 Check roof gutters and clean if necessary ( ladder work)
2.3 Check operation of garage door ( may need some adjusting)
2.4 Remove pole on right side near door and relocate spotlight and cable for fairy lights ( ladder work)
2.5 Men’s toilet : Reposition light ( rotate it- laddder work)

3.1. Sorting out toy box, resp. emptying it and painting it, maybe putting some toys into smaller containers for storing in the cubby house.
3.2 Paint Ikea park bench

3.5 Replace missing timber post for gate and reinstall timber fence ( RS , KH )
3.6 Remove some surplus soil and spread around in front gardens
3.7 Install 30m hose reel ( donated by Jens!)
3.8 Remove one branch from lemontree ( interfering with acess to shed window)
3.9 Install storage gadget for clam shell ( under aircon)
3.10 Trim creeper at back verandah of manse. ( ladderwork)
3.11 Shed : Move big mirror from there into manse ( staircase?), if acceptable

4.2 Check all planter boxes and pots for weeds,loosen soil,putting new plants in where necessary , then fertilizing
4.3 Clean all stormwater drainage channels , esp. in front of timber fence and on northern side near entrance
4.5 Fit cicken wire or simliar over grate on northern side near entrance

6.3. Finish organizing bits n’ pieces in vestry incl. some cleaning (?)

9.7 Remove graffitti on green control boxes on footpath

There could be some more jobs coming up until the 20. This is just what I can think of so far
The ‘activity’ starts officially @ 10.00 am. Let’s hope that the weather will be kind . If you can make it slightly earlier, the better it would be. PLEASE let me know who is coming and what you could do, so that I can preorganize the tasks instead of having to do all that on that morning. I hope we will see a few eager workers to get their hands active. As the saying goes: ‘’ Many hands make light work”.
